  1. “Police said the offender—a black male in a red shirt—jumped into a white vehicle that was last seen heading east on Montrose. A search of local hospitals for dog bite victims failed to turn up any suspects.”

If you are looking for an injured animal wouldn’t you search the veterinary hospitals?

  2. My dog won’t let a stranger anywhere near me unless I tell him it’s okay, and he’s pretty scary looking even when he’s not growling. I took him with me to PetSmart a few weeks ago, and a guy behind me in line said he liked my dog. I told him just don’t lean toward me, and the guy said “I wasn’t planning on it.” That mugger would have had his throat torn out.
