What this means is that movie makers from 1919 and escalating each year will have their work stolen from them.
That’s like allowing a painting from Van Gogh or a concerto from Mozart to be allowed to be reproduced or changed.
There is something very wrong to me about that.

I don’t remember that one, but I DO remember the 1967 Wally Wood (EC Comics) sex/drugs/orgy “Disney” poster. I could have had one, back in the day (sigh). Who knew?
When did Felix get his “Bag of Tricks”? I remember that well from watching on Captain Kangaroo as a child.
Krazy Kat is still the best. And everyone forgot Fat Freddie’s Cat from the underground comics of the 60’s and 70’s. I have a Felix the cat clock with swinging tail and eyes that go back and forth just to my left on the wall above my computer.
I had to look it up on Duck duck go to make sure I was right and I was called Mickey vs The Air Pirates by Dan O’Neill an underground cartoonist back in the early 70’s. Needless to say Disney wasn’t happy with him and sued for copyright infringement but Dan O’Neill kept at it and really pissed Disney off. Dan O’Neill was my favorite underground cartoonist with an extremely quirky sense of humor. But outside of underground comics he never got much press or notoriety.
And who can forget Oswald the Rabbit? Anyone?

I New a fellow who had a collection of old radios, and also some spectacular examples of very early electro-mechanical television including a receiver and a camera. He also had a statue of Felix the Cat which he told me was something of a symbol for testing of these early television systems because it had sharp black and white contrast .
I saw this the other day on a sign board in Montana, bad cat puns really freak meowt. It was too late for all the puns the other night but I thought it was funny.
