Breitbart: Italy’s Matteo Salvini infuriated the EU’s most senior foreign minister by declaring that Italy needs more children, not more Africans “to replace the children we’re not having”.
Speaking at a conference on the European migrant crisis in Vienna, the dynamic League (Lega) leader, who became Italy’s deputy prime minister and minister of the interior after anti-establishment populists triumphed at the polls in the recent elections, said he disagreed with EU politicians “[who] say that we need immigration because the population of Europe is getting older”.
“I have a completely different viewpoint,” he said. “I believe that I’m in government in order to see that our young people have the number of children that they used to a few years ago, and not to transplant the best of Africa’s youth to Europe.”
Salvini’s remarks flustered nearby Jean Asselborn, who muttered “blah, blah, blah” while the Italian was speaking.
The 69-year-old Luxembourger, who is the EU’s longest-serving foreign minister — having been in post since 2004 — has previously complained that anti-mass migration parties which want to “protect Christianity” and refuse to “open the door” to Arabic-speaking Muslim migrants will “destroy Europe” with their strong border policies.
Salvini merely used the opportunity to goad the EU loyalist, however, adding: “Maybe in Luxembourg they need to do this, but in Italy we need to help people have more children, rather than bring in modern-day slaves [from Africa] to replace the children we’re not having.” more here
Years ago American Amanda Knox was accused of murder in Italy that was actually perpetrated by an “African migrant,” Rudy Guede.
Of course the feckless Italian prosecutor wanted the American to take the fall.
This man just might save Italy from it’s stupid policies of the past. Europe could use more people with common sense. Too much to hope for?
It appears more and more Europeans are rising up against the EU’s establishment elite. May they be strengthened to oppose the islamic immigration (invasion) once again, before it is too late.
Unfortunately for many EU countries, they in fact face a graying of their population. And since many of them have adopted socialist policies, they need at least stable population numbers, if not a growing population. Although not touted, it’s also not a secret that the EU is making up this lack of numbers through immigration.
We are seeing some of these effects (although for largely different causes) in the United States. Detroit used to be the fifth largest United States city, and its economic decline began when factories began leaving and Detroit residents followed. Benefits due retired workers must be paid from a younger tax base, but when that tax base contracts, the budget turns upside down.

Like a generation (more, now) of American conservatives, who argued that “The way to defeat communism, is to give them everything they want. That’ll prove how superior we are.” (the devoutly polite conservative spin of “enough rope”), Mr. Salvini may want what is good for his countrymen. But, what he proposes to achieve it, is more of the same that caused the “problem” he now sees.
“Pay foreigners to invade us.”, didn’t work. (Who could’ve have guessed, let alone predicted, that.) So, now, “What are we to do?”. Since even mentioning (not “discussing”, but merely naming) the cause of the “problem”, is a thought crime against The Holy Mother State?
The population decline experienced by countries is NOT a problem and might even be good for a country. It is an argument without validity by The Left. Firstly, it provides an impetus for innovation and reduces unemployment. The entire idea for bringing in outsiders is for cheaper labor, Socialistic power and turmoil to keep the populace in fear..
