And no, it’s not a scam. You get a piece of paper in return that says it’s totes legit.

I can offer twice the carbon credits that Mr. Burr can at a 10% discount, and your certificate of authenticity will be printed on recycled paper and, for all you know, stained with the tears of refugees displaced by global warming.
For every carbon offset purchased from Burr or Wyatt. I will burn a tire in the dumpster at night.

When they get done congratulating her on her brave appearance in the face of all those unbelieves who don’t respect her feelings, they’ll be owing and awing over her credentials and activism for “science.”

I guess I’m going to have to cut the prices of my make-believe product to the bone – 50 metric tonnes of carbon credits for a price so low that Twitter has banned me from saying it.
