White was in the lead but lost. Had white won some leftist would have declared the race illegitimate or hacked and demanded it be run again until a dark marble won.

I seem to have lost my marbles.
It’s interesting once you shut that damn music off. lol
So, downhill racing is a matter of physics, and random differences in micropositioning through the course. Heart, determination, will, guts and all that are so much happy talk.
BTW: White gave up after red passed it. You could see the momentum drain out of it as it realized its dream was ending. It just didn’t have enough left in the tank for a final push.

I figured whichever came out of the chute in first place would win, that the race was won in the first 6 inches. It would have been true if not for the split in the track. Very clever!

This was like a Formula 1 race: one pass in the whole thing.
