  1. Yeah, the Juncos are already here.
Looks like most of the Goldfinches are gone.
Saw a Tarantula yesterday – strange – 66 to 40 overnight – hope he (she/it/xe/xhe/xit) found a place to hole up.

    Thanks, Claudia!

  2. If it snows here, it better be gone in a day or two. Yay, Snow! Bye! That was fun. Now, let’s call the body shop to get our estimate and see how long the line is.

Doesn’t matter if you even use snow chains, it’s a demolition derby of noobs coming at you if you dare drive in snow here.

No plows. No salt. Just sand here and there. You can see where they spread it as you slide over it and into the car that lost traction earlier.

  3. We had a 5 minute blitz of pellot type snow yesterday here in NW Indiana. Kind of wierd. It was not hail. Yes, early winter, however it is supposed to be in the 50s this coming week. Not looking forward to winter at all.

  4. Love the critter pics, Claudia!
OT but I forget who reminded readers here to send Sarah S. a birthday card at the White House, but I did it and last week received a small envelope from the WH from Sarah thanking us for our interest and support! Nicely printed mailing!
