Author of 14th Amendment Explains EXACTLY Who It Was Meant For

This link should be an excellent rebuttal to those on the left who say that the 14th Amendment is for anyone born in the United States regardless of their citizenship status. The intent was for children born of freed slaves to be granted citizenship.

I tried to tweet this link and Twitter wouldn’t let me because they said it was an “automated” tweet. Gee, I don’t feel automated. Maybe my consciousness has been transferred into a robot. . . Nah, then I wouldn’t have these aches and pains of an old lady!! Damn Twitter.

  1. That amendment was rightly fucked up with the wording in the first sentence. They should’ve known that half of Mexico would try to claim US citizenship for a family member this way. JFC.

  2. Why should I care what a bunch of white, cisnormative, (thankfully) dead, men, wrote? The Constitution is the law of the land! And The Constitution says whatever the judges say it says. Today. For now. Because they say so.

  3. “Subject to their jurisdiction”
If you’re not a citizen, you’re a foreigner, you’re subject to some other jurisdiction.
Ah, the nuisances of old phrases, lost on most (low IQ) libs and Democrats.

  4. Mexicans took advantage of this legal loophole for decades with birthing clinics in El Paso, Texas and Douglas, Arizona, to come across the border to have their children anchor their future ability to bring their entire family to this country. Now, thousands of Chinese are flying to Hawaii and California to anchor their children with U.S. citizenship. Long past time to correct this ridiculous situation. This will go a long way towards restoring the true value of American citizenship.

  5. Somebody prove to me Kasich isn’t a flaming prog.
Typical blowhard, in his argument w/Laura Ingraham, droning on about the 14th A. When she thoroughly debunks him with facts, he does the ‘ol switche-roo, with guess what…. his “father’s carried mail on his back”.

I’ll wager Kasich’s hands are softer than mine and he uses an expensive night cream w/Retin-A.

  7. Rarely EVER do we need write a new law or even amend an old one.
What is necessary is the will to administer the Law. (again, thank you God for President Trump, our Administrator-In-Chief)

No country ever did or ever could (for long) admit non-citizens and shower him with lifelong freebies. Show me just ONE prog who is willing to PAY FOR ALL THE FREE SHIT. End of discussion.
PS Since the lawyers aren’t willing to fix this (today all legislators are lawyers). let’s just be rid of them all, they are as worthless as tits on a bull.

  8. “What is necessary is the will to administer the Law.” -No Law…

The will is greatest at the small town level – and weakest in our Federal Government.

An Article V Convention of The States is the only way out of our quagmire, and even then, a good outcome isn’t guaranteed.

  9. Excellent.
Someone send this to Judge Andrew Napolitano.
He’s been saying the 14th amendment applies to everyone who is born within our borders.
Of course Fox News has always been a sort of RINO apologist.
