I don’t use an alarm on the weekend so, I’ve had breakfast and am on the second cup of coffee. It’s a beautiful fall day here.
Just woke up, saw the time (05:23), saw the headline and realized it’s 04:23. Thanks, Claudia!
My body and my mind tell me it’s 6:45 Am but the clock tells me it’s actually 5:45 and I’ve been awake for a while, so what else is new being a early morning person. As long as Ranger Doug’s classic cowboy corral is on XM 59 in 10 minutes I’ll be happy.
Since I had to get up at 2am for work, our little dog had to go out, then have breakfast, then play. I got back to bed and she wouldn’t, so we ‘napped’ on the recliner til daylight.
Dog is gonna be confused this evening when it’s time for her after supper walk.
I woke up at regular time without an alarm. Beautiful sunny day here! And light before 8:30. My dog looks like one of those napping critters now.
Ill catch my nap later.

Funny how I never mind “falling behind” an hour, but I sure don’t enjoy the “spring forward” that’s coming.

Nice old ranch rifle and upside down ar upper. The critters were cute, but now I feel lazy.
The hardest part is retraining the dog to fit the time zone.
HouseCat doesn’t need a clock. When in doubt, it’s naptime.
Lovely photos, as always. And no, not more sleep because my analog clock read 9:30 but it was actually 8:30. Shouldn’t that mean I was robbed an hour?
Dogs get daylight instead spotlight for first trip outside, I get darkness on the way home in the evenings. Not fair.
I prefer DST, some people do not. It’s understandable.
And I don’t appreciate the disruption when the clocks are reset.
An equitable solution would be to split the difference, and then just leave ’em alone.
