It only took Ross Edgley five months at sea to swim around Britain. Starting in Kent  June 5th, Edgley was in the water 12 hours a day paddling until finally landing back at his starting place earlier today. More

  1. He also now holds the world record for the largest number of Muslims to be swum around in one bunch by a Christian. The record was previously held by Richard the Lionheart, who swam the entire moat of Saladin’s castle in Jerusalem whilst looking for a way in, during the Third Crusade (1189–1192).
