Annoying NPC Suffragette Made to Suffer

YouTuber Shirrako was banned for posting video of his video game character committing violence on a game-generated 19th century suffragette. The non-player character (NPC) is found on the streets of Red Dead Redemption Two.

The assault of the deliberately annoying NPC was deemed a “promotion of violence” by YouTube’s parent company, Google.

Shirrako’s 538,000 follower channel has been restored, apparently after YouTube figured out that the player was merely using the game as designed.

  1. They should allow some customization of the NPC and make xer look like Big Red.

Tie her up. Leave her for a bear to eat.

Or just drag her behind the horse with the wolves giving chase.

So they’re saying that the game with the guy pointing a gun at you on the cover is “promoting violence”? Nice work, detectives. The game that made $725.0M in its first week and is estimated to gross over $2,000,000,000.00 by March 2019 is promoting violence you say?

  2. I’m an old fogey and don’t play video games, and here’s what I get out of this. Amazingly realistic graphics. My kids tell me games like Grand Theft Auto are even better. No wonder whacked kids are shooting up schools. Holy Shit.
