Snopes, with no information on how HHS Drug Pricing Czar committed suicide, says Conspiracy Theorists are wrong

Snopes-

Origin

On 1 November 2018, the Trump administration’s senior adviser on drug pricing reform, Daniel Best, was found “unresponsive” near the garage door exit of a Washington, D.C., apartment building. He was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.

A statement released the same day by Health and Human Services Secretary (HHS) Alex Azar mourned Best as a “friend and colleague” but addressed neither the circumstances nor the cause of his death. No other details were released to the public.

Two weeks later, on 15 November, the office of Washington, D.C.’s chief medical examiner announced that Best had died of “multiple blunt force injuries.” His death was ruled a suicide. No other information was provided.

!snip!

When people on the internet found the wording of “blunt force trauma” associated with suicide, it didn’t readily compute. Normally one associates blunt force trauma with a beating, and people can’t, usually, beat themselves to death.

However, jumping off a building would result in a blunt force trauma suicide. But Snopes has no idea how the suicide was carried out, yet they rate the suspicions FALSE, not UNDETERMINED, like they would do if this was a leftwing HHS official who was about to implement single payer and was found dead with blunt force trauma.

With no information they have determined that “foul play” suspicions are FALSE.

Move along, nothing to see. Snopes is the arbiter of record.

  1. Seth Rich Syndrome.

Big Pharma has billions at stake.

I’m not a religious man, but I pray for the continued safety of the life of President Trump, guarded by a Secret Service hopelessly degraded under Obama.

    And Happy Thanksgiving, everybody.

  2. If the proper authorities say suicide, it’s suicide. It happens all the time. Talk about a bunch of doubting Thomas’s. I s’pose next they will be questioning who has what on John Roberts.

  3. This is a relatively new tactic being deployed post-Trump. Someone on the right makes an accusation that warrants an investigation. Voter fraud, unusual murders where responsible people with solid health insurance just die suddenly, or are gunned down in robberies where nothing is stolen, etc.

The media leaps to claiming that the accusation is made with no evidence.

That’s why it needs to be investigated, fuckfaces.
