Abortion Rates Lowest Since Roe v. Wade – IOTW Report

Abortion Rates Lowest Since Roe v. Wade

The Center for Disease Control has released the latest data available on abortion in the United States. They’ve found that 2015 continued the steady decline in the number of abortions performed, hitting 11.8 abortions per every 1,000 women between the ages of 15 and 44. This continues a 38 year trend since the practice peaked in 1980. More

The CDC report does not break out the statistics by state, so one can’t tell if further restrictions on the procedure in some states explains the decline. Given that the rates have been declining for nearly 40 years though, I’d say fewer women are considering abortion as a form of birth control.

  1. Abortion is not a disease. Neither are gun shot deaths nor poverty. The CDC is involved, as are many other government agencies, in duplicative tracking, collating, and analysis of these.

    Why?

  2. Statistics are funny things, it may seem like a good thing, but I think the multicultural importation fetish of the last few years is likely responsible for the overall lower abortion rates being cited….all part of the invasion/usurpation of the west by those sworn to do us harm.

  3. Leftists consider children a sexually transmitted disease.

I recently saw the Bodies exhibit in Las Vegas. They had babies at every step of the development process. One while in the womb.

Leftists always wanted to see the flag draped coffins on the evening news so we can Know The True Cost of War. But we are never supposed to see a medical procedure because they know piblic opinion would turn on a dime if people saw what they are doing.

OTOH, it’s mainly aborting future Democrats.
