“Fearless Girl” Moved To New York Stock Exchange

The statue of a pre-adolescent girl taunting the more famous “Charging Bull” of Wall Street is being moved to a new home, in front of the New York Stock Exchange. More 

Fearless Girl” was originally part of a marketing scheme to promote a “Gender Diversity Index” fund offered by State Street Global Advisors, the defiant girl was originally installed in March 2017, receiving a mixed reception.

  1. It should be moved for one reason and one reason alone.

    It is in TENSION with an already existing piece of established artwork, The Bull, that has been there for MANY years.

    Think of (one of) your favorite sculpture installations and then some modern prozac poet comes and puts something, several feet away.

    That’s why it should be MOVED.

    But @ Aaron, he is correct. Let them try THAT one.

    There is that ‘facility’ that was trying to be approved in the building department not sure if it got approval? I think it’s on Chamber St which is not too far from The Bull.

  2. ‘Fearless Girl’ is in fact ‘Stupid Suicidal Girl’ and always has been.

    I hope she’s melted down into an actual art piece instead of the ridiculous virtue signaling mess that she is currently.

  3. Nah. Just leave Teh Girl alone, let some of the more creative types “decorate” her. Paint, a stuffed dog with lifted leg against her leg. Hat, feather boa and makeup. That kind of stuff.
