NBC2: Real life Grinch? Cape man tells kids Santa isn’t real
Cape Coral’s Festival of Lights was Saturday, and some people said instead of it being a lighthearted night filled with entertainment and visits with Santa Claus, some children were left in tears.
A Cape Coral mom took cell phone of a man with a giant sign, in the middle of the excitement yelling that Santa isn’t real and parents are telling their children lies.
Some people said it’s heartbreaking that the man stood there for hours just to hurt little kids.
So a mom did something. Where are the dads? Why didn’t a guy or guys step up and hustle the grinch outta there?
I remember when our daughter was 8 and said Santa wasn’t real and was disappointed that we had lied to her hahaha. I turned it and said, no Santa is real and is alive in each and every one of us. We take Toys to the toys for tots program every year, we told our daughter that every toy she drops off in the container means she is being Santa Claus for some poor child whose parent(s) can’t afford to spend money for a new toy at the holiday time.
She thought about it for a second and that turned her disappointment into a smile. So that’s how it has been explained to all of our kids as they got old enough to figure it out.
For the asshole in this story, he’s not Grinch. He’s a progressive asshole.

I believe the reason why nobody laid hands on him (even just to hustle him away) is because in these days of cell phone cams and litigating for cash this guy was hoping someone would do just that. It would have been almost an instant payday for him and his lawyer who was likely there as well with cam in hand.
The guy ought to be identified and if he has a job video of him sent to his company, his boss and anyone else that can be found with connections to him.

Well, we never went with the Santa crap with our two. They always knew it was BS, the easter bunny too. And frankly, it’s all pagan customs repurposed, not Biblical at all.
