A senate investigation of the federal marshal service has concluded the agency under the authority of the Department of Justice has found the service suffers from wasteful spending, nepotism and abuse of paid leave. Yeah. In 8 years, he systematically fired every, even federal union, employee. Hired all, completely, new people, that met his corruption vetting process. Implemented constant refinement corruption testing, to ensure only the most corrupt rose to the top. And got it all done with enough time left over for the known, and hundreds more unpublicized, “in your filthy face, peasants!” games to be run. Talk about NOT low energy!
I propose a prisoner swap. Empty the jails, invest a fraction of what govt employees steal towards reform programs for early releasees, and send the damn govt crooks to prison.
I have a fighting chance to protect myself from an armed robber I can see, govt employees who make a career out of theft who’re provided protection, not so much.
