It’s damn sickening to think how our ‘elected officials’ couldn’t give a rat’s ass about us peons and how we would like a balanced budget.
It seems WAY past due for a revolution….perhaps it’s already too late?
IIRC, last year when Trump signed that record breaking mega spending budget he said he didn’t like it and wouldn’t do it again.
He just did, and didn’t even get the very small amount he wanted for his wall as a concession for signing it.
Trump is now making both Obama and Bush before him look like pikers, wish he wasn’t but he is.
I want to see the look on the politicians faces when the creditors start demanding payment! Or do I?
That kind of irresponsible spending is so far beyond the pale, there can be absolutely NO doubt about the ‘appointed leaders’ contempt for those of us that are saddled with repaying such an outlandish debt.
Consider: A beam of light will travel around the earth about 7½ times in one second, that’s 186,000 miles…per second.
That same light beam will take a full year to travel 5.88 trillion miles.
If you spent $186,000 dollars per second it would take 3¾ years to spend 22 trillion dollars.
Geeze, Jellybean. Now I’m depressed!
Politicians must think they are playing with Monopoly money.
@Claudia
Believe me I understand your gloom.
Make it 20,025,000,000,000 and we could have GREAT Mexican neighbors.
As the lyric have the politician say, “It ain’t me who’s gonna pay.”
Who is going to stop us from this lunacy? We can’t stop ourselves.
Shut it down. Article V Convention Of The States.
MILLIONS BILLIONS TRILLIONS
QUADRILLIONS BAZILLIONS GIGIZILLIONS
What does it all mean anymore ?
Means shit…
sadly she may be right about the twelve years, just wrong with thinking it the climate that will do us, US? In.
The national debt is the typical point which populists consider as a big economical fault by our government. I think the same. US economy is American people. As Americans raise their wealth, so the economy is becoming stronger. It’s simple. I wrote about this at https://edubirdie.com/case-converter. There is enough statistics and researches.
If we don’t spend millions in taxpayer’s money on studying birth control for lesbians then I don’t want to be considered an American.
I’m moving to Honduras and marching North…
