Sara Carter: Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez will meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov Friday, according to Reuters. The Venezuelan people are edging closer to overthrowing the Maduro regime. Many people are fleeing the country due to the humanitarian crisis.
Socialist policies have pushed the people to fight for their lives. Meanwhile, Maduro is continuing to strengthen an alliance of evil by forming an alliance with Russian President Vladimir Putin as a last ditch effort to relinquish power.
In January, The Trump administration recognized Juan Guaido as Venezuela’s interim president. However, Maduro still holds control of the borders and majority of security forces. Earlier this week, Maduro halted U.S. aid from entering the country, criticizing it as U.S. intervention.
Will Bernie attack Trump if he tries to prevent Putin from
joining in the festivitiesintervening?Socialism always ends well. Maduro better hope his people never get their hands on him.
If Trump is Putin’s puppet why isn’t he droning the opposition?
Putin’s only real threat is nukes and he isn’t about to even think of using them. He has a crumbling economy and a hollow army so all Maduro can hope for from him is more endless bluster.
Nicolae Ceaușescu anyone?
The US wants to oust Maduro and put CIA asset Guaido in place as a puppet to sell out Venezuela’s oil. And Putin is the evil one?!! It is the fault of USA sanctions and conniving oil manipulation that Venezuela has been having economic problems. Put the evil tag on the US government where it belongs. Not on Putin who is obviously helping, not trying to harm the people. The media is pushing hard with hate and lies to get Americans to believe that Venezuela needs to be saved, just as it did for Iraq and Libya–both utterly destroyed, not saved at all. And neither is Afghanistan saved, nor its opium/heroin production stopped. The USA is consistent in making a bad situation a whole lot worse for the people, except for the wealthy profiteers of corporations and drug cartels. An evil history to look at is the overthrow done by the CIA in Chile that put a US puppet political psychopath into power. Would the people of Venezuela prefer this?

@tRuth ~ maybe you should change your name … I suggest ‘pRavda’
btw, I think the people of Venezuela would prefer not to eat their pets … but that’s just me
“Maduro is continuing to strengthen an alliance of evil by forming an alliance with Russian President Vladimir Putin as a last ditch effort to relinquish power.”
This sentence has structural problems. Or maybe it’s just a ‘special needs’ sentence.

I think the “American” representatives of international banksters would prefer to eat babies — but support them? Yeah, that’s just you.
“Not on Putin who is obviously helping, not trying to harm the people.” -tRuth
American aid trucks were burned by Maduro at the border trying to help. Come on! Putin doesn’t give a rat’s ass about “the people” of Venezuela. He’s made it clear he wants a military base there, and why not the oil, too? The Russian vision of an end game is the U.S. breaks up and Russia/China clean up the mess that remains.
So… The Chinese pulled out of a huge oil deal with Venezuela. I wonder why? Could it be that tin-pot dictators aren’t their cup of socialist-controlled, capitalist Chinese tea?
And the Russians want a naval base there to isolate the U.S. in the Western Hemisphere. Central Americans can’t get out of their own countries fast enough. Brazil’s in major economic difficulty…Etc.
Sounds to me like, tRuth’s arguments sounds like the usual anti-U.S., Libertairan talking points but ignores the actual situation and the stakes involved.
tRuth sounds like a commie sympathizer to me.
Maybe it is time to refamiliarize the world with the Monroe Doctrine.
More like pRavDuh.
