Authorities report finding 5 kilos of fentanyl and 6 kilos of heroin in a rented home in Westchester County, New York.
They estimate that’s enough synthetic heroin to kill 2 million people.

  2. My neighbor, who must be a white Jamaican, was telling me a short while back that some weed he bought gave him a very weird high when he smoked it. I told him he needs to be cautious because there is a lot of synthetic crap that could be put in it. He didn’t care.

  7. How can there possibly be that much market for fentanyl? We keep hearing of these busts that nab POUNDS/KILOS of the stuff and it can kill millions of people but where does it go if the cops don’t grab it off the street? I don’t think I’ve heard anything about two million people dying recently.

    If that 5 kilos can kill 2 million, it would make many many many millions of NON-lethal doses – so where is it all going, especially since what the cops remove from circulation is only a very small percentage of what actually gets in – we’re talking hundreds of millions of doses. Is there that much market for it? What am I missing?
