Border Incident (1949)

To penetrate a gang exploiting illegal Mexican farmworkers smuggled into California (and leaving no live witnesses), Mexican federal agent Pablo Rodriguez poses as an ignorant bracero, while his American counterpart Jack Bearnes works from outside. Soon, both are in deadly danger from the ringleader, sinister rancher Owen Parkson, and find night on the farm to be full of shadowy film-noir menace…

The white guy is the villain in 1949 and is the villain in 2019.

Poor Mexicans. It sucks that the white man has to mar their existence. If only we weren’t here, and there was no border. Then Mexico could suck ass all the way to Canada.

  1. If the white man were more consistently clear that we aren’t going to take care of them, and won’t accept them unless they go the legit route, then they wouldn’t endanger themselves and enable the evil opportunists.

  2. Draw a line from Brownsville TX to Cabo San Lucas. That’s where the border should be. We’d have done favors for all, with much less border to defend.

  3. Fast forward 70 years and we finally have a President that is trying to address human trafficking, slavery and crime. He is being fought by democrats tooth and nail. Because democrats love human trafficking, slavery and crime.

Admittedly, that movie was an unexpected stumble upon.

  4. Stumbled upon to avoid Chunk Todd and George Snuffleufagus and that ilk on a Sunday morning.
Who knew that current events were more accurately portrayed on Turner Classic Movies-1949?

  5. 60 years ago every workin American was better off thank to Ike’s “Operation Wetback” !#$%&! Shipped almost 3% of American population hundreds of miles away from America. For Americasn workers it was a giant success. for our betters not so.
