In all successful Marxist revolutions, there is a secondary “Stalinist” phase when one faction consolidates all power by rubbing out the other factions. Now which side wins the Stalinist phase? How about the side that most resembles Stalin. In all cases the side that resembles Trosky ends up with an ice pick in its skull
It happened in Iran. A coalition of hip secular Marxist intellectuals and funny looking guys with turbans and beards overthrew the Shah. And who won the Stalinist phase (in about thirty minutes, BTW)? It was the Muslims, of course, because they’ve been doing Stalin for 1400 years
