ET-
Amid rising temperatures across the United States, the Midwest might see another taste of winter.
A so-called “bomb cyclone” is forecast to hit the north-central Plain States and Upper Midwest, according to weather forecasters.
“A rapidly intensifying major winter storm to bring heavy snows through the Northern Rockies, heavy snows and blizzard conditions to portions of the Northern/Central Plains into the Upper Mississippi Valley Tuesday through Thursday,” the National Weather Service warned on April 8.
…Democrats to blame President Trump for this in 3…2…1…
It is explosive cyclogenesis.
But if we want to dumb it down for the average tablet taker on the nod staring at their phone.
I guess bomb cyclone works.
Bring it.
The Deere is gassed and facing the door and ready to kick some …snowflakes
Global warming? Global cooling? Climate change? No. Cow farts.
SW FL this just in… sunny and warm with a chance of afternoon showers for the next 6 months…
High 70’s here, got a bbq this weekend then off camping for a few days..
It’s certainly bombing global warming idiots.
If this unlikely scenario proves true, it will provide BIG FOOD the excuse to shove prices up your butt and wobble the Trump Economy just in time for 2020.
Catching some hellacious West winds right now. Damn!
Sylvia got that right. Think Planting, crops Food.
Not good.
Damn Trump and his weather machine..
Northern Utah here (no, I didn’t vote for Romney). It was 71 degrees on Monday and its been snowing all day today so far!
45 years ago I lived in Wisconsin and I had never heard the term “bomb cyclone”. Took a vacation to Florida in early April. While my wife and I were there a storm dumped 18 inches of snow back home. It was all melted in 2 days
The media is now taking normal weather patterns and trying to make them sound unusual and catastrophic. Like it’s never snowed in April before. :eyeroll: Just means we’ll have a longer summer.
What’s all this talk about ‘bomb cyberclones?’
A very good friend married and moved from Dallas to southeast Minnesota two Summers ago.
We send random texts to each other once in a while.
Yesterday she mentioned the blizzard coming her way and I sent her a picture of my first Iris blooms.
You can only be cruel get a laugh back with real friends.
SNOWSTORM in APRIL?! 😮
MUST be glo-BULL “warming!” 🙄
Lived in Lake Geneva Wis in 1975. On April 15, 1975, we had something like 8-10 inches of fresh snow to do with what we wanted.
We built an 8′ snow dog with metal trash cans used as a parts mold.
Being raised in Texas and 6 months into living up there, I found all the snow on Apr 15 to be memorable. It was special to me, but the locals were glad for snow in general.
It didn’t snow there that Winter until late January. All over town and school were snowflake shaped cutouts with “Think Snow” printed on them.
I’m sure if it all went like that this year, civilization would need to stop.
Blizzards are quite an awesome storm. High winds, blinding snow, drifts 4 foot high, bald spots where snow doesnt settle. All of the air is in an uproar. Its unsettling at times but i enjoy them regardless. Just another of Gods wondrous creation.
Helps to be prepared. 3 yrs back my stoopid neighbor got it in his head to go into work which was at a campground 8 miles out of town just as the schools and roads were beginning to close. He was stranded there 3 days while i provided his wife with gas for her generator. It was a trek to her home wandering like a Family Circus trail to get there in 2 foot of snow while circumnavigating 4 foot drifts carrying 3 gallons of gas siphoned out of my Dodge 4wd. They were grateful of course but it sure was stupid of him.
Meanwhile, here i am stranded in AZ wishing i was home.
Just what all you honky’s deserve during ‘White History Month!’.

Between this & weather in other ag. areas, expect food prices to go up.
I was looking at the crappy avocados they’re trying to shove on us for $.88 – I can wait until tree starts bearing.
