  1. Doesn’t he realize how many police officers, social workers and government officials would lose their job if black fathers took on that responsibility? It would cripple the workforce!

  2. Fatherless blacks and the destruction of the black nuclear family is the elephant in the Progressive living room. To speak of it is heresy.

Ad hominem attacks against Reggie will begin soon. Even the NFL will participate in the denouncing.

    Self-criticism and apologies soon follow.

  3. Years ago I read an article detailing the results of a prison study. The researchers wanted to know why so many blacks were in prison. About 75% of the black kids in prison had no fatherly influence. Hispanics in prison – about 75%, whites were about 75% as well. The researchers determined it was a fatherless problem, not a racial problem. About 75% of blacks are born out of wedlock, that’s why they have an absentee dad that leads to jail. I wish I’d saved the reference to the article.

  4. True story.

Years ago I met my mother’s husband’s daughter at his funeral for the first time. Sorry, but when you are in your forties calling her a step sister doesn’t feel appropriate.

Anyway, her son, five years old approached me, and several other males, almost in desperation, asking “are you my father?”

He is now in prison for murder.

I know that’s anecdotal, but this kid wanted a bond he never received.
