Rep. Moulton(D) Becomes 17th Major Dem Candidate for President
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Representative Seth Moulton entered the 2020 Democratic presidential race on Monday as a long-shot contender in a contest that now includes almost 20 candidates.
A 40-year-old Iraq War veteran who represents a district in Massachusetts, Moulton enters the race as an underdog, with little national name recognition and a shorter track record than some rivals who have spent years in the U.S. Senate or as state governors.
Moulton has built a political career by challenging the party’s establishment. He entered Congress in 2015 after winning a Democratic primary challenge against John Tierney, who had held the seat for 18 years.
After Democrats took control of the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018, Moulton helped organize opposition to Representative Nancy Pelosi’s bid to again become Speaker of the House. more
MORE!!! MORE!!!
PLEASE tell EVERY Democrat that NO ONE is worthy to represent THEM but THEMSELVES…They are a pretty egotistical bunch so it won’t be hard to convince each and every one of them that they, alone, are the CHOSEN one, and have them act accordingly…I want 100,000,000 Democrats to run, each one only voting for THEMSELVES, and each one EXTREMELY BITTER when they don’t win so they stay home or, better yet, kill themselves or each other over it…
All these buffoons can divide the funding and support now. When there are so many candidates running then it really means you don’t have one. The democrat party is a circus now.
Tulsi Gabbard should have the nomination running away; not nearly nutty enough though.
“Moulton has built a political career by challenging the party’s establishment.”
…this only plays for so long before you BECOME the Establishment. A rebel that becomes a ruler is no longer a rebel.
Or, put another way, what happens when they’re in the system long enough…

He didn’t want Pelosi as Speaker, and then he chickened out like the rest of them. Oooooh so anti-establishment. LOL!
This guy has less recognition than that third guy in the 2016 Dem race. Only 3, and we still have trouble remembering his name, and he was stuck at 1%.
It would be easier and faster to list the dems who are not running.
…also, I’m predisposed to not like this guy. I KNOW a guy named Moulton. He’s an asshole.
…but that’s just me…
Won’t all these candidates overwhelm the federal election commission when they verify their qualifications? Haha. Just kidding. They’re democrats; no further investigation necessary. However, they might wear out their “approved” rubber stamp.
“Moulton has built a political career by challenging the party’s establishment.”
He is a democrat from Massachusetts; he couldn’t have done TOO MUCH challenging.
It’s like the serial killer who lived next door. “Gee, he LOOKED normal.”
I know it is de rigueur to slam anyone on the other side, but my bar is much lower; anyone that it is not crazy right out of the box gets a second look.
Him being a combat Marine already puts him ahead of the rest of the America- bad mouthing, testosterone deficient, mamby pamby pacifists that already populate their leaders.
I know very little about him but he does not appear to be a socialist or an open borders guy, looking better already to me.
Given the basket of nutcases, Che wannabees and America haters that they normally gravitate to, anyone somewhat reasonable and measured should have a leg up in attracting that middle 10%, were elections are won or lost.
An anagram of “Seth Moulton” is HOT MULE SNOT
He might be better off changing his name to “Mulder” (“the truth is out there”).
@Rich Taylor: Maybe he’s a stealth candidate? Hmmmm. I like it.
The Dementia Derby just keeps drawing more and more of them out of the woodwork
You’re going to have to stop calling them “Major Democrat”. When the field of dreams is up to seventeen most of them are “minor democrat”.
If I were the FEC I’d start keeping a real close eye on the money these guys are raising and where it’s going especially when they drop out of the race and still have the warchest.
I don’t get military people who are demosluts. The dems cut their budgets, cut their pay and send them to fight in wars unprepared. They must be idiots.
Another ass joins the herd.
