It’s a rare occurrence that Chick-fil-A is open on a Sunday, a disappointing fact to anyone craving chicken nuggets on the last day of the weekend. Founder S. Truett Cathy put the practice in place in 1946 because he “saw the importance of closing on Sundays so that he and his employees could set aside one day to rest and worship if they choose — a practice we uphold today,” as per their website. However, throughout the years there have been a handful of exceptions to the rule, and in this latest case, it occurred on Easter Sunday.
Danny Agee, a 10-year-old boy from Temple, Texas, was scheduled for surgery for a brain tumor on Monday. The night before served as a reminder to his family that “miracles happen.”
Very nice. I love stories such as this one.
Such an evil corporation.
Did you see the comments? One person asked why they would feed the child such “unhealthy” food. For crying out loud.
Anybody who would like a hateful place like Chick Fila must have a defective brain.
Got something in my eye.
@radiomatt.
Ignore the stupid. It’s not a cure for stupid but it’s best not to expose oneself to this sort of idiocy.
Damn allergy season has my eyes running.
This story sucks. Happy for the child. Grateful for the things Chic-Fil-A does. What makes this story suck, is now I want some.
PHenry: sometimes stupid is like the odor of a skunk. It just wafts through the air and you just have to let it blow away
Good people doing good things for other good people.
The miracle of this story — to me — is that it was run by Yahoo News. I was expecting a footnote about how it is POTUS Trump’s fault that Danny has a brain tumor.
I think I feel a craving for a chicken sammich coming on for tomorrow…
A profit making organization that also does good! No wonder the Democraps hate them!
Not only an evil corporation but they brought a farting cow into a hospital. And the nuggets are a processed meat product.
Chick-fil-a outshines their competition because they honor God first. As a result loving and compassionate acts of kindness are genuine. This wonderful story proves it.
I’m going tomorrow since I’ll be up in Kalispell, Mt. where there is a Chik-fil-A.
Chick may close on sundays, but the globalist/leftist/islamic axis operates 24/7.
“Cast your bread uoon the waters and you will find it again after many days.” The long lines of happy people waiting for their chicken says how true it is in the face of vile
leftist calumny.
