Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido said on Tuesday he had begun the “final phase” of his plan to oust President Nicolas Maduro, calling on Venezuelans and the military to back him to end Maduro’s “usurpation.” More

Meanwhile the government claims it is still in control and “confronting a small group of “military traitors” seeking to promote a coup.

  2. Prior to Chavez, Venezuela was top 2 on places I wanted to go. They have some of the most beautiful women in the world.

    I had a Spanish teaching assistant from there in high school and never forgot her. She’s probably morphed into some squatty little mutant Quasimodo by now but she was hotter than Georgia asphalt in July when she was 19.

  7. I lived in Venezuela from 1964-1970 and loved it. I also hunted Cubans in Nicaragua in the 70’s. I would love to go back hunt some more Cubans and communists in Venezuela and take the country back to the people. 10 years ago, the citizens were forced to give up their firearms, now they have nothing to fight with. Lets pray for the Venezuelans.

  8. FUN FACT: back when the Socialist Hugo Chavez was still alive and high oil prices were artificially keeping afloat his fucked-up Socialist economy, a well-respected leftist European economist visited Venezuela for a months-long review of this wonderful system of Gummint.

    The leftist economist soon realized that the branch of Socialism that Chavez and his Vice Presidente For Life Maduro (who is a former BUS DRIVER) were actually using was NATIONAL SOCIALISM. This hypocrite economist couldnt bring himself to admit the truth and buried deep within his report that it was “Socialistic Nationalism”

    The Left will never admit that all four branches of Socialism have always failed miserably: Fascism, Communism, National Socialism and Progressivism.

    As the saying goes, you can VOTE your way into Socialism but you always have to SHOOT your way out of it.
