Godfather Politics: A baby died at a hospital because doctors were told that the pregnant mother was a man because the patient was a transgender mental case.
The incident was reported in a recent issue of the “New England Journal of Medicine,” according to USA Today.
The baby died because the patient told doctors she was a man because that is how she “identified.” So, doctors at the thus far unidentified hospital initially treated the patient as if she was a male. But as treatment continued, doctors eventually realized that the patient was actually a woman and was pregnant on top of it.
Doctors didn’t realize this until it was too late to properly treat the patient and to save her baby.
Naturally, now the medical community is debating this incident and making the mistake of bending over backwards to support transgenderism.
The 32-year-old patient told the nurse he was transgender when he arrived at the emergency room and his electronic medical record listed him as male. He hadn’t had a period in several years and had been taking testosterone, a hormone that has masculinizing effects and can decrease ovulation and menstruation. But he quit taking the hormone and blood pressure medication after he lost insurance.
A home pregnancy test was positive and he said he had “peed himself” — a possible sign of ruptured membranes and labor. A nurse ordered a pregnancy test but considered him stable and his problems non-urgent. MORE HERE
A MANDATORY tattoo across the forehead (and that crowd seems to enjoy tattoos) that states, “Y chromosome nutjob,” or, “XX chromosome nutjob,” should help alert doctors of such future cases at least.

Baby dies because liberal progressive policies make it difficult to make mentally ill people address their sickness.
It should be a criminal offense for ANYONE to support, encourage or otherwise embolden a mentally deficient human being to engage in deceit, falsehood or any form of deception.
And no one comments on how massive levels of hormones damage the baby.
They caution not to drink while pregnant, but this is okey-donkey.
The social communists are injecting as much chaos and pandemonium into America as possible.

I will use whatever pronoun I deem fit for the occasion. If my pronoun is legitimately correct or not…..tough shit.
That hospital needs to take a good hard look at their intake assessment protocols.
And, please notice- in this instance, where gender dysphoria is involved, a ‘baby’ has died. Not a clump of cells or a fetus, but a baby. Funny how they do that, huh. Tomorrow they will be back to calling abortion the removing of a tumor or something.
These are trained medical professionals, and they don’t know how to tell the difference between a man and a woman? Let me guess: affirmative action quota hires?

Actually it’s a decade old innate fear of CAHPS scores which determines reimbursement, turning patients into customers and the customer is ALWAYS right. Slobbering raging drug addict covered in month old shit and maggots? Better treat them as a VIP or they’ll give you a bad CAHPS score on their survey. Get them their dilaudid/Turkey sammich/cab voucher combo. It has now morphed into this, fear of “misgendering” someone and not only endangering your CAHPS score but getting sued to hell and back.
If you read the article that is linked to at USA Today, you’ll see the patient was understood by the hospital to be transgendered, which means they all knew the patient probably has a uterus. That they choose not to treat the patient as someone who could be pregnant (which is the case with those of us with uteruses) was malpractice. They needed to look past the pants and haircut and consider what the organs in the body in front of them might be up to. They were not confused about what body parts the person in front of them was born with. They knew all along. The patient didn’t misrepresent that. They forgot that those born women can be suffering from complications of pregnancy.
