That is ALL I need…. A fookin’ beautiful dog that can climb a tree in order to kill me.

Are they good with kids?
It looks like a fenced yard is kind of pointless.

We have a Malinois. We broke her out of the local Dog Jail in a daring midday…. adoption.
She is sweet as can be but tries our patience. Loves kids. All the drunks at our local bar love her when we bring her along. “yay! Auggie’s here!!!”

I’m surprised they would work a dog that hard in Asia. I’d think that would make the meat tough.

@joe6pak – dude!! Sssh! Don’t say that or my dog will find out and hop our 8 ft Fence.
She has managed to dig her way under our shed several times. She caught and killed a possum and proudly brought it to me. She can set off our T-Rex 🦖 rat traps and and lick the peanut butter without getting pinched. She figured out how to open our bedroom doors.
It goes on and on and on…

Not surprising. Eating that Chinese food always leaves you hungry an hour after eating it…

I find something in all dogs to like. I get rescues {as I have now} because they need someone to save them.
One mans trash is another mans treasure.

That was amazing. I had no idea a dog could do that.

Fantastic! Those dogs are smarter than all the lefties combined. Beautiful creatures.

Better be high energy. Training and/or keeping up with one of those requires a MAJOR commitment.
I’ll stick with the two little couch doggies in my senility…

The tight-rope walking! Amazing!
Wouldn’t a dog with that much energy need a ‘job’ to keep himself occupied? The Dog Whisperer said that working dogs as pets are fine if you give them jobs, like carrying a pack when they go for walks.

gin blossom.I have adopted old and terminal (death row) un wanted dogs for years. the ones that their previous owner died are sad and confused. The pooch i have now was around five years old covered with scars.Badly beaten. She was named Heidi by the pound for good reason. It took a few months but now she is happy and relaxed. Her black face is turning grey especially her eye brows. So now i can see when she raises one eyebrow with that what? look. Cracks me up every time!

The first time I’ve ever seen a Belgian Malinois was while watching, “Person of Interest”, starring Jim Caviezel – what a great show, despite the series ending episode. What an intelligent dog. Wonder why U.S. law enforcement rarely use them.

Our friends have one, very smart girl.
Mesa needs lots of walks and a short lead, she will try and fight other dogs any time any where.
They are no nonsense dogs just like an Akita, you really have to train them well. Very good with family,if not family well, don’t cross them.
Like most dogs they will just be a pet unless train them to attack like the ones in the video.
Pit bulls that is another story.
4
PS if you want one that is trained like that you will spend 15 or 20 thousand dollars.
A good bird dog will cost 5 thousand.
It takes years for them be trained, and you can see why the soldiers love them and the dogs love them; Trust.

They are a High energy herding dog they need a job or they can become a handful. They can be lower energy than what is on display but they are NOT a low energy dog. They are used for Military working dogs and Police dogs they have more bite force than most dogs their size. They CAN have a high prey drive meaning some of them are NOT good with small animals and that typically cannot be trained out of them Some are NOT good with small children. They are great dogs for the right owner in the right situation.
