Statistics, studies, surveys, observations, data do not matter in relation to my God-given absolute right to self-defense which is utterly inherent and not disputable. I do not have life, liberty, or the ability to pursue happiness if the government makes me a subject dependent on it for my own protection.
Hint: the government does not give a damn about you. It will kill you in the blink of an eye to protect itself. See Nazi Germany, USSR, North Korea, the Ottoman Empire, Cuba, and Venezuela.

I am in Houston often. I feel relatively safe there. I always carry two concealed guns on me when I’m there. The bad guys know that anyone can be packing heat in Houston. That’s why I feel relatively safe there.

+ 1/3 of the year in CHI, the weather has an extreme dampening effect on crime. Adjust the numbers for climate, and it’s even more striking. But give Houston time, and the dems will eff it up too.

I’m a native Houstonian. Yes there are problems, but we tend to get along. People come to Houston for the climate?? And for opportunity. We’re relatively civilized here and tend to respect each other. Also Houston is the most diversified MSA in the country. We just get along here. WE ALSO CARRY Guns and Fences make for good neighbors

While the numbers were probably good for the time they were posted we at least do now have concealed carry, but our legislature is passing many gun control laws to eliminate dealers and make it harder for the law abiding citizen to buy, sell or otherwise excecise his/her 2nd amendment rights.
