Here’s what I think is going on with her: She got elected to office on a pack of lies and subterfuge about who she really is and who recruited her, so she’s really not too wrong in thinking she can say anything she wants and people will believe her. The only difference is that she is now on a national and international stage and those looking at her and hearing her aren’t just her insular group of constituents.
I’m very glad I was not her mother. She would have been grounded for life.
