KFI:
A Texas woman has filed a million-dollar lawsuit claiming she was injured after walking into a floor-to-ceiling window as she was leaving a Kroger Marketplace in April. Anna Robb says that she mistook the window for an open doorway and slammed into it, causing her to suffer serious injuries. more
“… she mistook …”
“The Fault, Dear Brutus (Anna Robb), lies not in our stars, but in ourselves …”
Talk about shifting blame!
izlamo delenda est …
She’s suing because she’s stupid and a real pane in the glass.
I’ surprised the dimwit lasted this long.
Let me guess she had her head in her cell phone. No personal responsibility for anything anymore.
Victim outrage equals $$$$ equal lawyers delight. God bless America
She was stupid to walk into the window, and it’s stupid to blame anybody but yourself for doing something stupid, so at least she’s consistent.
This lawsuit is transparently stupid. Now, if she’d pulled a David Warner from The Omen…
She was probably on her way back from peeing on the potatoes.
😉
What do you want to bet she’s a demoncrap?
She’ll end up settling the suit for $10,000 or get it tossed with prejudice.
“She’ll end up settling the suit for $10,000”
AKA go away money.
Oh yeah, then why was she seen admiring herself as she walked into it! She was so be smitten by how good her hair looked that she walked right into it ‘Warning objects in your reflective vanity glass are closer than they appear’!
So now I suppose Kroger will have to put warnings on their windows so that idiots don’t walk into them. In great big black letters and telling these dummies that they are not responsible for any damage caused by idiots walking into their windows.
She should go for the REALLY deep pockets; sue Windex!
And “jury of her peers” (i.e. other stupid people”) will feel sorry for her and award her the million, of which Jackie Chiles, her attorney will get half.
@geoff the aardvark:
HEY, STUPID! YEAH, YOU!
► THIS IS NOT A DOOR ◄
It’s not MY fault I’m a MORON!
I want to know how they got the window so clean and get it to blow fresh air from the outside, too!
Even full length windows have a frame around them. there was sure to be some frame feature protruding from the floor.
So, ms. dumbass, do you pay attention to objects on the floor as you walk?
of course…
And do you avoid them to keep from tripping?
Yes
so, if a metal object was on the floor would you pay attention to it to avoid it?
Yes
and if you saw it would you try to assess what it was to know how to avoid it?
yes!
look at this picture. what do you see?
The bottom edge of a window frame.
I rest my case your honor.
Can the window decal say, “This is a window. Don’t be a moron like Anna Robb, use the door.”
