I’ve said it before. My site got banned by Google over 10 years ago. It started with them claiming that we were “dangerous” and installing malicious software through a reporting partnership they had with Carnegie Mellon IIRC.
I’d watch traffic drop 80% overnight. We appealed and got put back on but then they eventually just dropped us altogether. They wanted our real names, email addresses, etc. I can see people talking about us but no link to the site directly.
Now they take out bigger names for the same reason. Wrongthink.
