Sea Slice Slated For Scrap Heap

It was built by Lockheed Martin for $15 million in the 1990s as a test platform for the US Navy. Meant to demonstrate the abilities of its unique of its four teardrop hull design (each slice having its own propeller assembly), the Sea Slice has reportedly been hauled to the ship breakers after attempts by its now Danish owners to restore the engines has failed.

The vessel had been purchased four years ago, for cents on the dollar, by a Danish logistics support company who were going to use it to service off shore wind farms. More

    Suspicious timing. My guess it was going to be used to shuttle teenage sex slaves to Pedo Island before fate intervened.

  2. OMG. Call Portland’s Mayor, Wheeler. This baby should be able to house hundreds of bums. Using politically connected democrats Portland could pick this up for somewhere under 900 million. They’d save big time by not having to pay property taxes. Bums being able to use the river as their toilet would save millions, as would being able to throw their garbage and deceased democrat voters overboard. Man, I wish Portland had some kind of program for rewarding tax payers for coming up with good ideas.
