Big Tech Deletes Social Media Accounts On Hong Kong Protest

In a move already taken by Twitter and Facebook, social media giant Google removed 210 YouTube accounts that appeared to be part of a coordinated effort related to the Hong Kong protest.

“A Google spokesperson would not comment when asked by the BBC whether Google agreed with Twitter’s assessment that it was a state-backed misinformation campaign, designed to undermine the protest movement in Hong Kong.” More

  1. You don’t dump them, you break them up into smaller entities. The question here seems to be whether the accounts they deep-sixed were actually ChiCom government efforts to screw-over the protests. I doubt it but it would be nice to know.
