How Low Can You Go?

Get Off the Plane: Your Social Credit Score Just Went Negative.

China expands its system of tracking a citizen’s behavior with a social credit score, and limiting his freedoms if it goes negative. Your neighbor reports you smoking a cigarette at your house, and when you try to fly to Hong Kong the flight attendant says, your score is too low, get off the plane. Is this just a dystopian nightmare spawned by communism, or could measures taken by American companies to nudge consumer behavior lead to such a scenario in the land of the free?

  1. There was once a company that attempted to restrict my freedom to travel to and from work by forbidding me to carry a firearm in my vehicle while doing so. I carried every single time for my own safety and made sure my vehicle was firearm free if it was ever searched. They would shit if they knew how I did that. The trick is to keep your mouth shut about it.

    Yup!
For years I have said: Welcome to The New Communism of Unnecessary, Over-Reaching, Over-bearing, High-Handed, Regulation followed by the selective application of the law based on who they don’t like! One of the spin-off results of 9/11 was the limitation of our freedoms encouraging the Left to progressively limit even more of them over time under the notion that they are somehow “protecting” us!
God save us from their “protection”!!
