Do they not know what the word “unscathed” means?
Near the end of the video: “he was unscathed. The bull injured his knee” That means he was “scathed”.
The bull rider hurt his knee when he was walking away. The bull fighter (the clown) is the one who went head over heels and was unscathed.
Back in a previous life I had to hire guys for a drilling crew. If I had to choose between half a dozen guys and one of them was a rodeo cowboy, the rodeo cowboy got the job.
What’s that football player doing on the back of that rodeo bull?
I watched that again, he knew what he was doing and placed his foot on the bull’s forehead. I bet he has done that before.
Still, you won’t catch me trying that!

Ahhh…years later the truth will be told as to just was/might have been damaged…just saying. My crash fractured parts of my spine that didn’t show up in xrays.

Any bull rider will tell you that riding a bull for eight seconds is the safest part of the rodeo.

I was at the big show in Ellensburg this weekend, never make the Roy Labor Day show, but sometimes catch the Memorial Day show in Roy. It’s a great little one day rodeo. They run two shows/year. My cousin competed when he was stationed at Ft Lewis back during Vietnam, as do a lot of soldier/cowboys competing there this week.
I have seen a lot of bull fighters tossed, but this is among the best/most memorable.
That was a pretty darn good ride by that cowboy too.
That bull is packing quite the set of clown stabbers too
