Agree w/Crackerbaby (and the AZ court). Custom work is different than mass produced goods and services. Each project is an individual contact w/its own individually negotiated specs. If creative types want to decline projects, they are already imposing a fine of lost revenue upon themselves.
Forcing bakers, decorators, engravers, etc. to take on every client makes as much sense as forcing clients to hire the artisan located closest to them, instead of the one across town, whose work they admire.
Forcing someone to create against their will is worse than not allowing them to create.
