SNL, like The Simpson’s, is considered too big to fail. Both shows have long outlived their usefulness but no one in position to do so is going to suggest the shows be ended.
SNL suggesting the current crop of Democratic candidates is not very good can probably be compared to the infamous posters in Maoist China.

Think of how completely aligned the talking points are across the media / entertainment spectrum. And if anyone strays from the party line they are punished. This is so organized and disciplined. And everyone including the democrat candidates are just pawns. Look at the shady people pulling the strings like Soros and Brennan behind the scenes. The ultimate goal is tyranny and dictatorship. Too few republicans will do anything about it.
I’ve said it before there is another candidate out there waiting is safety while the internecine blooding takes place. I don’t think it will be Clinton as it’s too likely Barr could arrest her at an inconvenient time and while Mooch has a certain attraction and would get back a lot of the black voters leaning to Trump she would so galvanize the conservative voters Trump would win by an even greater margin. I don’t know who it is yet but you can bet that they will turn up at the last minute.
