What Were They Thinking? Forbes Encourages Women to Travel Solo to Pakistan

PJM/Robert Spencer:
“I’ve never been one for ‘easy’ travel,” says “vlogger and content creator Eva zu Beck” in an adoring piece in Forbes Friday, and you can say that again: Eva zu Beck, Forbes reports, “thinks Pakistan could be the world’s #1 tourism destination.” And that raises a question: what on earth compelled Forbes to run such a palpably ridiculous and potentially dangerous piece?

Eva zu Beck thinks such concerns are wildly exaggerated, and based on misconceptions. It’s all the media’s fault, you see, but she is understanding about it: “It’s very hard to extract yourself from all the common preconceptions about Pakistan as a person living in the Western world and consuming Western media. After all, the one single image of the country we are given is that of an unsafe, unwelcoming place – which is of course very wrong.”

Of course it is. And so women, says Eva zu Beck, should flock to Pakistan and travel around it alone. What is there to worry about? “There is this idea,” she says, “that traveling solo as a woman in Pakistan is dangerous.” Now how could anyone have gotten that idea? MORE HERE

…well, they want there to be more Muslims to overthrow Christianity, and even LIBERAL women aren’t doing enough, so they figure if they can get them OVER there, they can be SURE the Muslim men will, uh, “hold up THEIR end”, so to speak, and a horde of new Muzzies will result…

  2. Pakistan isn’t even a safe place for an American man to be alone. A relative worked on an embassy there and they were in a secure compound guarded by the military and did not venture off. The embassy was once under siege, pictures of the damage was frightening. It isn’t just fake BS, they are going to get naive people killed.

  3. I quit reading Forbes when I got sick of flipping through the twenty page advertisements for various oil sheiks anf their kingdoms, so I’m not surprised to find them pimping Pockistahn now.

  4. And since the press never covered the 2 Swedish girls decapitated heads, or the couple trying to prove Islam is peaceful lying dead on the road, some idiots will gladly do it.

  5. I’m not even as famous as (any) Forbes. And I encourage wymyn to take walking tours of Pakistan. And Afghanistan. And Somalia. And… well, there’s a list. But don’t just see them here, in an artificial, zoo-like environment. Please. Do to go see them in the wildir natural environment.

…No need. The Government will just take it anyway. As liberals intended.

..and that’s where they would WANT it to go…

  9. The idiot talks a about a sisterhood in Pakistan. What, the sisterhood of decapitated, mutilated corpses?

The travel and airline magazines do a lot of promoting of unsafe places for westerners to visit. I think I may have mentioned here before about the cover of the United AL flight magazine earlier this year that showed a woman by herself walking a slum in Bogota, CO. That ain’t no place for a single woman to go exploring.
