While it’s impossible to measure the grief of a man who loses his young wife and infant daughter in a car collision, it’s both possible and necessary to take the measure of a man who spent years falsely claiming the other driver may have been drunk.
During Joe Biden’s 2008 run as Barack Obama’s running mate, Pamela Hamill — the daughter of that other driver — asked that the then-senator make a public apology for the years he’d spent impugning her father.
Curtis Dunn was driving the tractor-trailer that collided with the car driven by Biden’s first wife, Neilia. Neilia was carrying their 13-month-old infant daughter with her, and young sons Beau and Hunter were in the car, too. They were on their way to buy a Christmas tree when the accident occurred. Police at the time made the determination that Mrs. Biden drove into the path of the oncoming truck, possibly because she was looking the wrong way at a stop sign. Neilia and the girl died of their injuries, despite Dunn’s attempts to provide first aid, and the Bidens’ sons were also hurt very badly. POLITICO wrote in January of this year that a friend of Biden’s looked into the accident at the time and concluded, “She had a stop sign. The truck driver did not.”
When Hamill made her apology request, the Newark Post reported that the chief prosecutor at the time, Jerome O. Herlihy, said that “there is no evidence” supporting Biden’s longstanding assertion that Dunn might have, in Biden’s words, “drank his lunch” that terrible day. read more

It is mind searing how incurious our MSM is when it comes to our liberal politicians. Biden defames, for decades, what appears to be a very decent man who got caught up in a terrible situation not of his making and who tried to render help. Trump sneezes in the wrong direction and it is fodder for the MSM and so-called late night comedians for days.

This is not the first time the true story has been published. I read it a few years ago. It is truly infuriating and disgusting that any individual could be so maligned for decades by a -protected- cowardly liar. May Joe join the likes of Ted Kennedy in his final judgement.

Oh! Come on, now! It’s not like they’re (human) people. How many millions have they got? How many boards are they on? Sure, it’s “tragic” when some deer attacks your car. And dies. But that don’t pay the repair bills.
It takes a special kind of sleazoid to use such a tragedy for political gain and at the expense of an innocent man. This is typical Biden behavior; pumping up his resume. I pray that this dirtbag is put behind bars before he dies.
It would be interesting to see what happens if the not so crazy Democrats and the not so crazy liberals (and they are out there, just keeping low profiles) realize that Biden is a liar, thief, fraudster, slanderer and all around low-life and that they’ve been fooled all these years whether they would take another look at the Clinton’s as well as today’s Democrat Party. I suspect that once that immaculate dam is broken with Biden then all the Democrat/Liberal/Progressives would be in for a tough time.
