Beto O’Rourke: Gunmakers Will Fund AR-15 Buybacks

I’m pretty sure his Scooby Snacks are laced with Meth.

You sure are, sweetie.

Breitbart:

Democrat presidential hopeful Robert “Beto” O’Rourke told CBS News in an interview this week that he will fund his AR-15 buyback via money from gun manufacturers.

CBS News’s Tim Perry asked, “How much do you think a mandatory gun buyback would cost taxpayers?”

O’Rourke responded:

I think a mandatory buyback can be financed with a surcharge that would be paid by gun manufacturers, those who are making the AR-15s and AK-47s and continue to sell them into our communities despite the terror that they’ve inspired and the lives that have been taken.

O’Rourke said his surcharge would fund a buyback “without imposing any new taxes on…Americans.”

He did not mention that the surcharge would raise the price of the firearm, the equivalent of a new tax. read more

  1. It hurts my head to think this guy is in the government. I would call him a special needs person but he makes them look like rocket scientists. I guess giant douche bag no nuts left tard. He is stupefying.

  2. I’m telling you, he’s a deliberate retard designed to make the other candidate of choice, whoever that ends up being, look reasonable by contrast. No one can have advisers and be this consistently stupid.

  3. Beto’s stupidity aside…

Stop calling it “buyback”! Private citizens do not “buy” their firearms from the gov’t, so the gov’t isn’t “buy(ing)(them) back”!

  4. It makes perfect sense for a government program. It will encourage purchases of AR/AK on the down-low so that it can buy them back later. It’s a perpetual motion machine. When it turns out that having customers pay to buy back their guns at a fraction of their price is too transparent, they’ll say that the extra tax is for the children. So a gun buyer can feel good about doing bad. When the gun industry starts to fail, they’ll provide a bailout so that everyone pays to prop up an industry crumbling under regulations and taxes so that it can continue its vital mission of getting guns off the streets by putting them there first, and helping the children. Gotta help the children!

  5. Did Robert Francis ride the short bus?
No wonder his “friends” called him Beato.
That’s what he would do on the back seat.
He’s too dumb to have any real friends.

  6. Why is anyone listening to Bobby Francis O’Rourke? The Schmuck will never be President of these United States so his opinions on any subject are totally irrelevant.

  7. I’m pretty sure his scooby snacks are laced with 100% weapons grade stupidity. You’ll notice that each of these clowns has a specific issue they beat to death. This is encouraged by the DNC so as to find the one issue they can push at the convention and ultimately run on in the election. Even Ray Charles can see that.

  8. And where does our Constitution confirm this “power” to Beano O’Rourke, exactly?

Having a bit of “tea and tyranny” there, Beans?

Funny how all the Dems see no problem in an Executive Dictatorship (when THEY have “the POWER”) but cry and whine like retarded children when President Trump performs the duties of his office.

How is it the Media never catches it? How is it the Media Maggot NEVER asks “By what authority?”

Lenin, Stalin, and Hitler were absolutely correct: the proper combination of Propaganda and Terror will consolidate a reign. But the first step – the essential step – is to disarm the proles (us) – they must be helpless in the face of state-sponsored violence (be it through the regular Police or ANTIFA).

    izlamo delenda est …

  9. In truth, it doesn’t matter to Democrats if the 2nd Amendment is repealed or not. They just want people to not use firearms. There are other ways to achieve this end. One way is to price firearms (and ammunition) so high through the application of federal, state and local surcharges that most Americans can’t afford to buy them.

While Slow Beto’s plan doesn’t make logical sense, it’s not intended to. The surcharge is intended to jack the price of the AR-15 beyond the average buyer’s pay grade, achieving the same result for many people as outlawing the gun altogether.

It’s a tactic Democrats have been using for years.

Identity politics. “I want to vote for someone just like Mee-eee-eeeee-ee!”

  11. I guess money can buy a borderline retarded boy a fancy college prep boarding school and admission into Columbia U, following which he could essentially do a smattering of nothing, including idiot “poetry”, pretend to play in a band, skateboard, and resume pad with fake low-level work in the businesses of parents and their friends in between being arrested twice.

That he could be taken seriously at all is terrifying.

  12. A surcharge is a percentage of the value of the sale. Surcharges are typically used to cover the cost of the merchant service charge. In this case it is a fee that covers an imposed government tax on goods sold. Dumbass.

  13. The public is able to witness how the combination of a low IQ and severe self esteem issues manifest themselves.

When it finally occurs to him that he isn’t the clever and engaging individual he thinks he is we’ll be reading about his neighbors complaining about a bad smell and his bloated carcass is discovered next to an empty can of Drano.
