Catherine Herridge Headed To CBS

Daily Caller

Catherine Herridge, a beloved investigative correspondent at Fox News, is leaving the network after 23 years to go to work for CBS News.

Media reporters like CNN’s Chief Media Correspondent Brian Stelter are taking the moment to gloat, insinuating that Herridge’s departure marks another defection from the network. Shepard Smith recently resigned from Fox News after also working there for 23 years. In recent weeks, the situation grew tense as he began trashing the work of some of the network’s opinion hosts on air. They returned the fire on their programs.

“It’s different from Shep,” an insider told The Mirror. “She actually reported news and the audience liked her. Sad to see her go.” More

  1. A pity, IMO. I hope she doesn’t get treated the way Sharyl Attkisson was. I don’t think they’ll be able to turn her. And, I wonder how much her move is attributable to the Murdoch boys and their turn to the left.

  2. This woman is one of the 5 or 6 people who actually report the news and get facts straight. I will miss her and Fox was stupid to let her go. They should have kept her and gotten rid ofWallace.

  3. CBS is the worst major network. Their news is the worst but there is not a single non-news show that is not some force an agenda down your throat propaganda vehicle.

  4. @Cliche Guevara – even ‘Survivor’, the only tv show i regularly watch these days, had a little white privilege lesson for us this past Wednesday! Grrrrr!!!!

  5. Steve: Well, we’re in the final season of Madame Secretary where Tea Leoni is finally becoming President after handling every international incident with stoic, no bullshit diplomacy. Hillary was supposed to be finishing her first term by now. Every episode was ripped from the headlines virtue signaling.

No Saturday morning cartoons for these guys. It’s The Inspectors – a show about a single mother postal inspector solving mail fraud while her disabled son and his multicultural friends discover a little about themselves.
