Ohio introduces personhood bill to recognize all abortions as murder

lifesite –

Pro-life Republicans in the Ohio Legislature have introduced legislation that would fully recognize preborn humans as people in the state, and ban all abortions by putting prenatal killing under the existing murder statutes.

Introduced by Republican state Reps. Candice Keller and Ron Hood, House Bill 413 declares that “no person shall purposely, and with prior calculation and design, perform or have an abortion,” and that courts “shall regard the unborn child victim of an aggravated abortion murder or abortion murder as a person who is less than thirteen years of age.”

  1. @ BFH – whenever you use that graphic I find it fascinating. It’s part biblical, part physiological, part 2001 Space Odyssey.

    I used the idea of that image in a sculpture idea, it’s in the Sun Room.

    Think wire frame skull, with profile, with that image floating in the brain, the mind, suspended by a fish line.

    This is not an easy topic at all, but life is very precious and the unborn are truly innocent.

    Thanks.

  2. Would not be here if not my mother, mostly father beliefs, they did not believe in such a thing being such hardcore prewarII Catholics, I would not be posting here at IOTW or enjoying my life now with a family of my own.

    As a matter of fact, my mom had to miscarriages in addition to the ten of us…

    Push back against the death factory is very important in moving forward in a post civilized society.

    Thanks Mom and Dad!! And Grandmas and Grandpas…

  3. I’ve asked “pro-choice” supporters with the question;
    If someone shoots a pregnant woman in the torso, and she lives but the fetus dies, should that person be charged with murder?
    They (pro-choicers) invariably just stare at me. They have no answer.
