The president of the United States attempted to use his political power to coerce a foreign leader to harass and discredit one of the president’s political opponents. That is not only a violation of the Constitution; more importantly, it is profoundly immoral.
He has hired and fired a number of people who are now convicted criminals. He himself has admitted to immoral actions in business and his relationship with women, about which he remains proud. His Twitter feed alone—with its habitual string of mischaracterizations, lies, and slanders—is a near perfect example of a human being who is morally lost and confused.

I quit subscribing to that magazine over 20 years ago, as it was starting to tilt leftward in the early 90s.
WSB 750, the radio station which employs Erick Erickson, has been breathlessly leading with this “story” on the news at the top of the hour. Erickson, who is working on his doctorate in divinity, probably is good buddies with this fruitcake.

I too quit subscribing to Christianity Today 25 years ago or more, they’ve been infected by the so called Social Gospel for well over a hundred years or so since the Progressive era of Woodrow Wilson. The Social Gospel has pretty much killed mainstream Christianity by it’s emphasis on works particularly govt. do gooderism over the works of God’s grace. These are people who we call Christian jerks (as well as being legalistic goody two shoes who live by rules and regulations and not the truth of the real Gospel) who are holier than thou, better than you because they think they have an inside on God to do his work for him rather than God himself. They give real Christians a black eye and a bad name in their pursuit of works and who can supposedly make God look the best according to their puny understanding of who God is. I can’t stand their phony baloney worldview and their constant carping that if you don’t do it their way you’re going to hell, just like the friggin muzzies.
