NBC News reporter Gabe Gutierrez was slammed for tweeting a video Monday that he said showed the pro-gun protesters outside the Virginia Capitol chanting, “We will not comply.”
In fact, the protesters in Richmond could clearly be heard in the clip reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
Conservative Twitter commentators quickly pointed out the error. Many accused Gutierrez of trying to falsely portray the rally as threatening.
And what would have been wrong with “we will not comply”.?
To be (partially) fair to the reporter, he later posted a short video of the group saying ‘we will not comply’ while acknowledging his error.
However, so what??? Nothing less than what millions have chanted over the years, people like, oh, MLK.
In Gabes defense the Pledge of Allegiance IS scary to the left.
If the protesters were really threatening you wouldn’t be here right now, Gutierrez
Is Gabe legally here in the country?????
@Anonymous – he ‘identifies’ as legal.
😉
Gabe is here on an HB1 visa, as no American Citizen could be found to stand in front of a camera telling you what you would be able to see if he was not standing there……..
One nation, under God, with liberty and non-compliance for all.
Can’t suppose the legal advisors at NBC know that it is legitimate to defy an unConstitutional “law”.
Gee Wally, maybe the legal advisors at NBC should advise them to stop their lying Communist propaganda!
Naw Beave, not a chance of that happening!
Check this moron out from this morning’s news, This is the latest spin. Trying the victim angle:

I think they cut the part where she said they were in control now.
Where the main body of VA State Police were staged, There was a sign on the fence with the VSP logo that stated, “We will NOT enforce unconstitutional laws.” All of the police that I spoke with were pleasant and professional. IT WAS FREEZING MR. BIGGLESWORTH!!!!
any one who finds the pledge of allegiance scary
is a terrorist !
