Chuck Schumer Invited Lev Parnas to the Impeachment But He Wasn’t Allowed In Wearing An Ankle Monitor

Red State: If you needed any further proof that Democrats aren’t actually serious about this impeachment push, I present to you this latest example of just how far down the rabbit hole of ridiculousness they are willing to go.

If you’ll recall, a former associate of Rudy Giuliani named Lev Parnas made the media rounds a few weeks ago, first appearing on Rachel Maddow’s show and then CNN.

(see Lev Parnas Went On Maddow and Made All Kinds of Accusations About Trump, Here Are the Highlights).

This was supposedly a “bombshell,” as Parnas made numerous allegations about President Trump in a desperate ploy to garner a cooperation deal from the DOJ (he’s currently indicted on unrelated issues). Such a deal has thus far not been forthcoming and the SDNY, which has been no friend to Trump, won’t even waste their time with him (see Former Giuliani Associate Lev Parnas Cries that Prosecutors Won’t Even Talk to Him About a Cooperation Deal).

That didn’t stop Chuck Schumer from thinking he was being really clever by having Lev Parnas appear at the impeachment trial as his guest. I guess this was supposed to be a Juanita Broadrick showing up to the Trump-Hillary debate moment or something? I didn’t say it had to make sense. more

  1. Schmuck knew he wouldn’t be allowed in. This was all for optics and the right to spin. He will most likely claim he wasn’t let in because Republicans were fearful of him.
