Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN) announced Thursday night that he will vote against calling additional witnesses in the Senate impeachment trial of President Donald Trump.
“I worked with other senators to make sure that we have the right to ask for more documents and witnesses, but there is no need for more evidence to prove something that has already been proven and that does not meet the United States Constitution’s high bar for an impeachable offense,” Alexander said in a statement. more here

It’s almost as good as the night President Elect Hillary Rodham Clinton failed to fulfill her destiny as the most qualified person to ever run for anything in the history of this country. Can’t wait for the State of the Union speech, when President Donald J. Trump will confront the losers in this debacle.
CNN was banking on this guy earlier to call more witnesses.

As long as Roberts is filtering out questionable witnesses why go on with an impeachment where the truth is blocked out. Scam, was written all over it from the beginning and Roberts clinched it.

Exactly right, Deplorable Second Class. Julia Roberts was just flexing his muscles when he censored Rand Paul’s questions. He’d make sure that the Dems got all of their “witnesses”, and he’d cover for them while they connived to reject Trump’s witnesses.
I still say that if the vote goes through for witnesses, Eric Coronamella is on the first flight to East Noextraditionstan, if hes not already there sipping mint tea. And nobody can possibly think that Justice Julia would ever compel Schiff to testify.
