…sadly, the programming for self-driving cars will most likely be done by a Third World moron (understand that a ‘program’ is nothing more than a HUMAN attempting to guess every possible condition beforehand based on limited, unreliable inputs, and THAT’S only if your programmer’s not a Muslim and not actually TRYING to kill you), the sensors are made in a factory by Third-World morons, critical sensor maintenance will be done by backyard morons, the car will be operated around NON automated vehicles driven by morons, and all you do when you make the tech “smarter” is make the operator dumber, so they panic if the tech doesn’t work because they forgot how to drive.
…just look at commercial aircraft, with highly trained, skilled, and tested operators and a long track record of automation, for example…
