This is why God sends us children. To bring us perfection, to show us the way. They are the best of all of us.
What a wonderfully talented young lady.

I hate her and am so jealous. And to make it worse, she’s cute and a great singer. ARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!

The natural talent that some of these kids has is amazing. I can’t play the radio that good.

I’m 62 and I’ve been playing and singing in public for 20 years.
The only thing I have in common with this little singing angel is the type of audio recorder her daddy uses.
Like DavidW above, I covet her gift, yet I am supremely happy that it rests on her able shoulders and not mine.
She is strong. I am weak.

The playing was ha ha ‘bad enough’ and then she started singing…on a nylon gee-tar high strung no less.
Holy shit. What a gift and a lot or work as well.

Nice!! My granddaughter is showing interest in the guitar, so I gave her a ‘homework’ assignment – “Classical Gas”. So far, so good…

That being said, perhaps this video is deep fake.
I detect autotune.

Mason Williams was da bomb, gnome sayin?

I don’t have a tiny pinch of her musical DNA , none in my extended family. I never got very far trying to override it with determination. Didn’t happen. Almost everyone in my wife’s family plays music. Uncles, aunts, cousins. I had some hope my son inherited some of it when he wanted a viola, then a guitar, but he inherited a large helping of my DNA and never got very far. He switched to tuning engines, and found his talent there.

Heck, if I’d have gone down to the bar instead of caring for my sick wife, I’d be ending my set right now.
There’s more to life than music. Not much more, but there is.

The kazoo Mr. Hat, not like our favorite kazoo gal.

I should of learned to play Oboe.

So cute.
On the other hand, she’ precocious, but she just might ‘catch up’ with herself, and go nowhere – but her ego is busted apart.
Better to be this good at 6, but no one knows about it until you’re making a mark because you are original.
4
I can’t wait to see (hear) what she will develop into in a few years.

thread winner. awesome insight.

Wow! what might make it more incredible, English may not be her first language.
9
The only thing I could pick at 6 was my nose.

She is a gift from God.

Fritz – please don’t tell me Greta Thunbergs goons got to you and you’re being forced to type that.

I quit.

To sing and play guitar at the same time is a skill that’s light years away from me. I never even tried it knowing it is beyond me.
Nicely done, little girl. Hope it turns into a career for you.
As someone pointed out, Mason Williams doing Classical Gas may be the ultimate in guitar playing. I first heard it in 1968 and it still holds me in awe.

Her future could be very bright if liberals don’t screw it up.

I managed to learn to play “Yankee Doodle” under the kind tutelage of Mrs Henry. The very next week I met my musical Waterloo with “Mary Had A Little Lamb”.
Which is why, nowadays, I can only express my musical self thru song parodies

well worth a good squeeze and a wet nibble
GET OUT OF THE WAY OF THOSE KICK ASS AMPS.
Also, your B string was out of tune.
