  1. Sick with worry is not a mere expression. The Left, especially, is one big, quivering mass of anxiety looking for an outlet of expression. CV-19 was made to order for them.

  2. Talking it to death. There has been more than one article on the ‘need and hope’ of a global pandemalgorehumpbackwhalewarming and the push globalists (all leftists) have for climate change legislation. It’s almost a joy the writers have had by watching this. Leftists are on all aisle seats and don’t care bout hurting people so long as its not them. But believe science and all women! Only when leftists are doing the selling.

  3. The demonrats needed something fast to replace Putin Russian collusion & Ukraine quid pro quo hoaxes. They picked COVID-19. They’re rapidly writing the new play book that will emphasize incompetence after failure of the old play book that focused on criminal & traitorous activities that never happened.

  4. don’t think the ndaa provision of indefinite detention (quarantine) isn’t on the minds of the evil political class
I can’t find it but there was some verbage regarding respiratory provisions in either the patriot act or ndaa

  5. The funny thing about hysteria is it can blow over as quickly as it starts. It wasn’t long ago the Juul was the deadliest thing you could expose yourself to in the news, where are all those sick people?! They are going to fall flat when this cycles out hopefully in the next month or so, the news will be last to let it go.

  6. The US hasn’t done very much testing yet – some snafu at the CDC. That 99.7% cure rate below 50 is the flip side of the ‘94% of the dying is done by those over 50 coin.

If this doesn’t fizzle because of warm weather, or its preference for asian victims, the tall part of the exponential infection rate may be coming real soon.

If you’re over 50, you’re justified to take precautions, while there is time. This thing spreads by complacency.

  7. @jo blo — This thing — like so many other things — spreads because selfish people believe that whatever it is they need to do is too important to sit out, like the father of the infected girl who just returned from Italy. He just had to go to a Father/Daughter dance even though he was advised to stay home. He, no doubt, thought he could manage being ill but didn’t think about anyone else he might infect.

If someone is almost certain to catch a flu bug from a family member and become at the very least a carrier, wouldn’t they think about spreading it around? Even just a little? Back about 20 years ago Geoff C. and I had the plain ol’ flu and were flat on our backs in bed for a week. I’ve never been so sick before or since! It was that episode that opened my eyes to just how possible it is to die from the flu.

  8. Like influenza, wash your hands with soap & water for at least a minute. Scrub & rinse well. Hand sanitizers are next to useless. Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze. If your sick stay at home. And wash your hands.
