Nick Searcy Reimagines Imagine For His Lefty Peers

The left sang Imagine for people quarantined (and, oddly, it didn’t do shit.)

Searcy sings his version for them (and, not oddly, it made me smile.)

  1. from what I’m hearing, some facsimile of a national shutdown coming in eleven days. Watch for phase-ins of constitutional rights revocations.
Ohio, you’re central, guinea pig, if you will, to all this.

  2. I dunno. After Pelosi blew up the Senate deal at the 11th hour and Trumps ALL CAPS tweet about reevaluating this situation after the 15 day shutdown-I think things might be shifting.

They pulled the hospital ship from WA and moved it to CA. The testing is showing more cases of course but people dying has significantly slowed. We were the hotspot but not anymore. Why are the rates climbing in the two most liberal areas of the country now, CA and NY? Somethings not right and hasn’t been since the start. Tomorrow will be interesting.

  3. Fur, I not only smiled, but I laughed!

“You may say I’m a Trumper,
but I’m not the only one.
Hope some day you’ll join us
and go out and buy a gun.”

    Brilliant! Thanks for posting.

  4. Flip,

“from what I’m hearing, some facsimile of a national shutdown coming in eleven days.”

Overheard a similar rumor at church yesterday…gas stations about to be shut down. I ask the same thing here as I did there: says who? Who are the sources? Lots of foreign actors are out spreading baseless fear and dissent online, so I’m skeptical of everything I read and hear until I see it confirmed in a press briefing.

  5. Nick Searcy, a man of many talents.
Thank you sir, I will hear your refrain whenever I hear that lame-o song:
You may say I’m a Trumper
But I’m not the only one!!
Hope one day you will join us
And the world will be more fun!!!

  6. Very good! I loved the slightly crazed look in his eyes when we sang “and I’m not the only one.” That, and I was impressed by his voice — hard to hit those higher notes at that age.
